Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Elephant Junction Thekkady, we strive to provide exceptional experiences while maintaining fair cancellation and refund practices.

1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

More than 48 Hours Before Activity

  • Eligible for up to 90% refund of the booking amount.

Between 24 and 48 Hours Before Activity

  • Eligible for up to 50% refund of the booking amount.

Less than 24 Hours Before Activity

  • No refund will be provided.

2. No-Shows

Visitors who fail to arrive for their scheduled activity shall be considered no-shows.

No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be provided for no-shows.

3. Late Arrivals

Guests are requested to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled activity.

Late arrivals may lose their booking slot and may not be eligible for refunds.

4. Cancellation by Elephant Junction

Activities may be cancelled or rescheduled due to:

  • Severe weather
  • Government restrictions
  • Safety concerns
  • Animal welfare requirements
  • Operational emergencies
  • Force majeure events

Customers may be offered:

  • Rescheduling to another available date, or
  • A full refund of the booking amount.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Refunds typically take 7–10 business days to reflect depending on:

  • Banks
  • Card issuers
  • Payment gateways
  • Financial institutions

6. Payment Gateway Charges

Where permitted by law, payment gateway charges, transaction fees, convenience fees, and other non-refundable charges may be deducted from approved refunds.

7. Promotional Bookings

Bookings made using promotional offers, discount coupons, or special packages may be subject to separate cancellation terms.
